TP1030 delivers consistently reliable high-quality thread turning performance in high-volume production operations. Ideal for steels and stainless steels, the grade complements Seco’s CP500, CP200 and CP300 grades and provides productivity gains and excellent surface finishes. Able to handle aggressive cutting data, TP1030 maintains tight tolerances, allows for reduced supervision and maximises return on tooling investment.
INCREDIBLE EDGE PERFORMANCE
TP1030 is offered in an S-type insert to ensure a uniformprofile edgeline. Compared to carbide, the ultra fine grain cermet substrate achieves superior resistance to crater wear and resists the tendency to develop a built-up edge. A TiSiAlN nanolaminate PVD coating further protects the edge, allowing for unmatched performance. PRODUCT RANGE TP1030 is offered in the most common external and internal profiles and pitches, such as ISO 1.0-3.0 mm, UN 20-8 TPI and W 19-11 TPI. Also, 60° partial profiles are available.
