The KONTEC KSX clamping vise is operated via an encapsulated spindle. Turning the 
spindle advances the moving jaw to the workpiece. Due to a 160° quick clamping, with the help of a force transmission box sitting in the fixed jaw, the clamping vises are clamped via a mechanical transmission system.
